For starters.. I’ve been taking advantage of the south swell that’s been lingering around. I was pretty lucky to score some epic surf with no crowd; perfect for photo shoots.

After the photo shoots, I had lunch at the Counter for some huge mouth watering burgers. In my opinion they’re the best on the island. The sweet potato fries are unreal!

Also, I recently started a new routine. Every evening just before sunset I take a long peaceful jog to the beach… It’s pretty relaxing

I made several calls, and a buddy of mine informed me that his band; Kawao, was going to play . . . → Read More: Is there such thing as to much partying?]]> Hey wutsup guys, I’ve recently been very busy working extremely hard on several new multi- million dollar projects (haha, I wish).

So this evening I decided to take a much needed break from work to have some fun. I made several calls, and a buddy of mine informed me that his band; Kawao, was going to play at the Shack Waikiki. After showing face and networking with several people I decided to leave and meet up with another group of friends that were promoting a reggae fest at Pipeline Cafe, Featuring: INNA VISION & Father Psalms Studios. Both shows were great as I skanked the night away!

Okay, Play time’s over and I  gotta get back to work

Woke up early to go on a friends boat in an attempt to catch fish and have a good time. Here’s a view of Kaneohe Bay from a different perspective.

But it was another glorious day in Hawaii. Boy do I love it!!

Woke up early to go on a friends boat in an attempt to catch fish and have a good time. Here’s a view of Kaneohe Bay from a different perspective.

After the early boat trip, we had lunch at a place down the road called Willows. Great Korean food, probably the best on the island.

After lunch, I drove up to town to meet up with a buddy of mine for a dive. The spot we had our eyes on was over a mile out. Unfortunately we had nothing but one Kayak and a Surfboard. I decided to paddle the surfboard as he kayaked. 45 minutes into our journey, we finally reached it! A Sunken ship that’s been on the bottom of the ocean floor for quite a while. Although it’s a popular scuba dive spot, due to the depth (75-80ft) no freedivers ever go there. Until today! As I climbed the mooring rope down to the bottom and swam inside of the ship, I felt free and it also felt quite euphoric. It was an awesome experience!

We watched the sunset as we headed in, and the ocean turned to glass. It was beautiful; couldn’t ask for more.

Ended the day by watching Boondock Saints with a buddy of mine that’s been telling me how good of a movie it is. She was right! it was goood.

That pretty much sums up my day…… Not a bad way to start off the summer if you were to ask me.

Well I felt much better yesterday, so I headed out to one of my secret spots to spearfish.  At the spot I saw a school of giant trevallys. Luckily I ended up with one of them. It made great sashimi.

The brute force that the Ulua had was enough to the point where it could bend my steel speargun shaft. It’s quite amazing.

A buddy of mine got us into Lotus Soundbar and despite all the hype I wasn’t fully impressed.

Feels more like Kapiolani Park to me]]> Really appreciate all the positive feedback guys! I had a lot of free time after finishing some projects, so I did a pretty long blog entry today.

Have you ever wondered where all the homeless people come from? I know I do each and every day that I have classes at HPU. On Fort Street Mall it seems as if almost every other person that I run in to is either homeless or on some sort of drugs. It’s pretty trippy, but thankfully there is security that come in every day at 6:30am to patrol the block. Today I spoke to one of the securitas-guards and asked him if he knew where all these people came from and how they manage to stay out of trouble. He simply replied that “There’s not much that we can do…. We can’t legally kick them out so they seem to just come here day in and out.” I was surprised! Yet fascinated by these walks of lifes (well not really). There seems to be more and more of them uniting  here and it’s almost starting to become overwhelming. I frequently have these people approach me; begging for money or food, and although I always give the same reply they still come back for more? I think that it’s time to take care of this problem.

Today after eating Easter brunch with the fam, I was lucky to score some free time. Since the weather has been pretty miserable lately, I decided to take advantage of the blessing. I drove across the island to the north shore and surfed the infamous Banzai Pipeline. Unfortunately it wasn’t the Pipeline that you see in surfer mag; it was much smaller.

Luckily I still managed to scoop several little ones.
